About Us
Our History
Hands of Hope Hawaii is a non-profit organization supporting K - 12 Schools, University of Hawaii students and programs, and non-profit special programs benefiting those with special challenges.
Hands of Hope Foundation (“Foundation”)
was founded in 1993 as a less structured, grass roots organization with the goal of getting the greatest value to the charities that needed support. It was established as a simple organization to raise and provide funding for those who are less fortunate.
The foundation operates without expenses as individuals contribute funds or have provided pro bono services to support the organization. From professional services such legal and accounting services to catering costs for the annual meetings, generous donors fund all of these expenses.
Throughout the years the Foundation has helped to improve literacy in our public schools, supported those challenged with disabilities, along with numerous other organizations. Please visit our list of past recipients for reference on all those in the community the Foundation has helped support.
Throughout the years, the Foundation’s support to the community has exceeded $300,000 since inception.
